After its first announcement only in January, the new collection honors five classic Fender designs, with Gold and Vintage editions.
In early January, Fender kicked off Squier’s 40th anniversary celebrations by announcing a series of budget basses and guitars, all focused on honoring the timeless classics that have defined the brand as a household name.
Each instrument incorporates a selection of stylish features, including anodized aluminum pickguards, Fender-designed alnico single-coil pickups, and all sorts of vintage styling.

Squier 40th Anniversary Precision Bass
With its classic design, the Precision Bass Squier 40th Anniversary features the C-neck, vintage tuning tuners, a four-saddle bridge with barrel saddles and a Fender design.
Bass Jazz Squier 40th Anniversary
The Jazz Bass includes a nyatoh body, with C-shaped necks, vintage tuners, four-saddle bridge with barrel saddles.
Aesthetic options for this model include Olympic White and Ruby Red Metallic finishes on the Gold Edition model and Satin Seafoam Green and Satin Wide 2-Color Sunburst colors on the Vintage Edition For model.
