Created in 1951 the Fender Precision Bass was the first model, after a long time passed to sechamar TeleBass, its body in massive Alder, Maple arm of 20 frets, two controls (volume and other of tonality) with a peculiar sonority to have only a single central coil pickup, but that was already a tremendous breakthrough.
The first bass player to use the new Fender Precision Bass was Monk Montgomery guitarist brother Wes Montgomery.
